VOTER INFORMATION AND ASSISTANCE
Below you will find some useful information. We have tried to cover the most frequently asked questions and issues that based on our experience arise most frequently among voters. If you don’t see something here, e-mail us at Info@MTRRO.org or call us at 847-824-8350 and we will do our best to assist you.

How do I register to vote?
There are several ways to register. You can call MTRRO at 847-824-8350 and we will send a Deputy Registrar to your home to register you. If you choose this method you must vote in person the first time you vote, so don't do this if you travel a lot or if you are a student who lives away from home.

You can also register when you get your driver's license, at your village hall, Maine Township Hall or at any of the Cook County Clerk locations. If you register at any of these locations, you do not need to vote in person the first time.

How do I find out my precinct?
Call us at 847-824-8350, or e-mail us at Info@MTRRO.org or go on line at www.voterinfonet.com and look it up.

Who are my state legislators?
Maine Township is represented by five State Representatives and three State Senators.

The representatives are: Rosemary Mulligan (R) 65th District, Carolyn Krause (R) 66th District, Elaine Nekritz (D) 57th District, John D'Amico (D) 15th District and Michael McAuliffe (R) 20th District.

The senators are: Cheryl Axley (R) 33rd Senate District, Susan Garrett (D) 29th Senate District, and Ira Silverstein (D) 8th Senate District.

What district (senate, representative, school, park etc) am I in?
The easiest way to find out is by visiting the Cook County Clerk’s site at www.voterinfonet.com and entering your address. By clicking on the “show all my districts” button you will be given a list of all your districts and around election time a list of all the candidates that will appear on your ballot.
